It was with great regret that Shrewsbury & Oswestry Crucial Crew planned for 1 – 12 June 2020 had to be cancelled.
However, an initiative between Shrewsbury & Oswestry Crucial Crew and Shropshire teachers led to the issue of 1,150 ‘Safety Workbooks’ for year six children being taken up by 38 participating schools.
Whilst the workbooks did not compensate for the loss of the event at Nesscliffe, they contained information on 18 safety scenarios that the teachers were able to work through with their students.
Crucial Crew is extremely grateful to everyone who made this possible. Have a great summer holiday and continue to stay safe.
